Five-day training covers all possibilities of working with the i2 Analyst’s Notebook product

The participant is accompanied by a training using a theoretical explanation, practical examples and independent work. The training is based on a complex story that simulates real investigation.

The basic materials have been simplified to the maximum extent so that we can demonstrate the maximum possibilities of i2 Analyst’s Notebook (ANB) and at the same time ensure visual control of the correctness of the achieved results.

For whom is the training intended?

The training is intended for complete beginners and slightly advanced users of the ANB product. The model used during the training is suitable for the public and commercial sector, especially for members of security forces, intelligence services and other sectors using the rich possibilities of link analysis.

Prerequisites

Basic knowledge of working with Microsoft Windows and Microsoft Office.

Objectives

At the end of the course, the participants will be able to use all the functions offered by the i2 Analyst’s Notebook program. They will be able to create network and time diagrams both manually and using imports from more complex data sets. They will be able to work with information contained in diagrams, edit them, remove duplicates and apply search and statistical analytical tools. They will be able to visually highlight the information of interest and comprehensively analyze the information contained in diagrams. Users will be able to convert information into a format suitable for presentation and publication and effectively use defined specifications in subsequent tasks.
